... its been a while

Rather than write a long, and perhaps boring summary of what I've been up to for the past 6 years, I thought I'd just post a quick pic to warm myself up.... hope you enjoy the image, and I hope to add more in the days to come.

This image is from a trip I took with friend in 2014.  Fall camping is always better when sleeping in the back of my Tacoma.  Not exactly roughing it.  However, I did have a fever and was slightly delusional.  The fever passed and I did manage to capture a few gems from this trip.  This is one of my favorites. Maybe one day I'll enlarge it and hang it on my wall.

Porteau Cove Provincial Park - BC Parks

This was one of the highlights of our camping season. Beautiful - Porteau Cove, right on the ocean. We were able to try our hand at crabbing. Unsuccessful at catching any crabs large enough to eat, but we did catch some. (our small trap being the blame - if you want big ones, you need a big trap!)
Our site was right on the beach, so the kids played at the ocean while we prepared our various delicious meals. So nice and definitely a place we will visit again.

It's been a while

It's been a while, but here is a recent photo of the kids... One of our favorite places to go in the lower mainland is Cresent Beach. Anytime of the year, it is beautiful! As you can see the kids enjoy getting soaked no matter how chilly it is out.
